About Congress Springs
An independent brokerage since 1997, we incorporated in 2007 to become Congress Springs, Inc., a licensed CA real estate corporation.
“Congress Springs” is the namesake of a hotel and resort once located in this part of the valley. The town drew its name from Saratoga, New York because both areas had similar natural mineral springs. A Congress Springs location exists in both of the Saratogas.
The Pacific Congress Springs Resort had been a tourist destination said to promote healing and restoration. They bottled and branded their own mineral spring water, hosted mineral spring baths and it was a stop on the Pony Express Line.
Located near the present day Quarry Park, the area still retains much of its original allure. The local name was adopted by a winery, an elementary school and a park.
Saratoga California still retains some nostalgic charm and is today a restaurant destination. Many well known names have made Saratoga their home, and that continues to this day.
